Use the keyboard less in blackberry on kuwait

BlackBerry has forever had a QWERTY keyboard and you can type everything out in filled - but you can put away time with the fitted shortcuts. Press space twice at the end of a ruling to get the full stop and a habitual capital on the next word. Don't bother with apostrophes in words like I'm and isn't (type im and the BlackBerry will exact it for you); there are other helpful abbreviations like 'wel' to get 'we'll' and 'il' to get 'I'll' and you can add your own with Options > AutoText.

Microsoft’s Windows Phone operating system will grab about 20% of the smartphone market

According to research reports from Gartner and IDC, Microsoft’s Windows Phone operating system will grab about 20% of the smartphone market by 2015, enough to propel the OS past Apple’s iOS platform to take the No. 2 spot globally. Research firm Gartner believes Android will have a 49% market share in 2015, followed by Windows Phone at 19.5%, and Apple’s iOS growth will slow so much that it will only maintain a 17% share. IDC believes Windows Phone will have a 20.3 percent share in 2015. During the IFA trade show in Berlin on Friday, Windows Phone marketing head Achim Berg told Bloomberg those Windows Phone growth estimates are conservative. “This is a completely new platform, it takes time,” Berg said. “It took time with Android, it took time with Apple. We have to show that we’re very capable and that we have the fastest and easiest phone.”Gartner suggests Windows Phone’s growth is expected to surge thanks to help from big-name manufacturers such as HTC. Read on for more, including a statement from HTC’s president of Europe, the Middle East and Africa. “We’re seeing an extremely positive response [to the operating system],” HTC’s Europe, Middle East and Africa president Florian Seiche told Bloomberg. “We’re now thinking that this year is a great time to get that momentum accelerated, to reach out to a broader group of customers.” HTC revealed its latest Windows Phone Mango handsets, the Radar and Titan, on September 1st. The analyses from IDC and Gartner aren’t the only such reports that project explosive growth for Microsoft’s emerging mobile platform. Pyramid Research is even more bullish on the OS, having said in May that Windows Phone will surpass Android’s market share as soon as 2013.

How to add internal A2DP bluetooth for the Ipod Mini (2G)

Soldering gear. This bluetooth adapter . Since this link will probably be dead relatively soon it might pose a problem for those of you trying to do this mod; the item is listed as a generic bluetooth adapter but in the manual it is revealed to be the BTAV101 manufactured by Flaircomm. A few lengths of thin wire. I harvested my wires from an old parallel cable. So, let's get on with it. UPDATE:- After getting it all together and trying it out it turns out that the mini's case doesn't allow the transmitter to work nearly as far as it normally would. Extending the antenna out of the case doesn't help. It works up to about 6 feet when out of my pocket but it starts getting choppy while in my right pocket. Not sure what's causing the interference in my pocket, but the problem disappears while in my left pocket. Step 1Breaking it down So this is pretty straightforward. We need to get everything down bare so we can work with it. For the 2G iPod Mini the tear down is relatively easy. The guys over at ifixit.com have a great guide on how to get it down to where we need it. As for the bluetooth dongle, all we need to do is slide a flathead into the crack between the two halves and GENTLY pry it open. We dont want to stab right through it and risk damaging any of the internals. Unfortunately I'm writing this post teardown so I don't have any pictures but it's dead easy. The usb port on the adapter is too big to fit into the iPod and needs to be removed, I removed it by gently prying it off with a pair of pliers.

You will need your landline number [use the new number with 2] and civil id number that was used for registering the telephone line 3. Check your balance 4. HTC ChaCha in kuwait

HTC announced the HTC ChaCha together with the HTC Salsa in Kuwait-- two social network-oriented Android phones -- in Barcelona at the Mobile World Congress. The Internet and the blogosphere in general called them “Facebook phones” due to their dedicated Facebook buttons as well as the deep Facebook integration. The HTC ChaCha isn’t your state-of-the-art Android phone in kuwait in terms of specifications. There is no dual-core processor and there’s no gigabyte of RAM. Instead, you’ve got a single-core processor clocking in at 800MHz – the phone was initially announced with a 600MHz CPU but HTC changed its mind – and 512 MB of RAM and ROM -- but guess what? It’s enough for the nene of the main advantages of Google’s Android platform is the fact that it does not require high-end internals to run decently. The ChaCha sports an 800MHz processor which is single core and has 512 MB of RAM and ROM. The screen is rather small, measuring 2.6 inches in diagonal, but it comes with the territory when you have a fixed full QWERTY keyboard in a candybar form factor. The resolution is half VGA with 480 horizontal and 320 vertical pixels. There’s a five-megapixel camera at the back aided by an LED flash which takes average pictures, but unfortunately won’t even record in 720p. 480p video is what you’ll get if you want to film, and pictures are a tad dull and washed out. The VGA camera on the front will serve you well as a mirror (HTC even has a mirror application installed) or for video calls, but Skype just didn’t work for us, and we're assuming that the internals aren’t powerful enough for the ChaCha to handle the application. Then there are your usual suspects: WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, G-Sensor, digital compass, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, LED inside the speaker grill for notifications and a radio which supports quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE in the 850/900/1800/1900 MHz bands. Powering all there’s a 1,250mAh battery which gives you enough juice for up to two days, even though Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread and the Facebook apps running in the background could sometimes be battery drainers. eds of the typical user in the target audience in kuwait.

HTC Wildfire in Kuwait

The Wildfire comes in and supplants the Tattoo as HTC's mid-range device, offering up the now established Sense interface running over Android 2.1. Changes from the Tattoo centre around improved build quality, a capacitive display and styling that owes much to the flagship HTC Desire handset in kuwait. Those changes make quite a difference as the Wildfire is an attractive-looking device, fusing metals and plastics. A metal band sits across the back to provide that premium feel, with rubberised plastic most noticeably giving a soft feel to the subtle chin at the bottom of the phone. We particularly like the cut-out speaker holes on the front, exposing the bare metal, giving it a classy look, which belies its affordable status. The Tattoo's odd arrangement of buttons has been removed, with the Wildfire now offering four touch controls across the bottom of the screen: Home, Menu, Back and Search. As with the Legend and Desire, a clickable optical trackpad sits bottom centre. Elsewhere around the device, the familiar standby/power button sits on the top, and volume keys sit down the left-hand side. A 3.5mm jack and Micro-USB offer physical connections. The phone is a comfortable size, measuring 106.75 x 60.4 x 12.19mm and weighing 118g which are average specs for a smartphone. You get a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display, the same size as the HTC Legend and the older Hero, but with a resolution of only 240 x 320 pixels, which at this size gives a noticeable fuzz to the experience, and one way of HTC differentiating the Wildfire from the those handsets higher up the range. Some mobile phone manufacturers differentiate between mid- and high-level devices by removing internal components (typically Wi-Fi). Fortunately the HTC Wildfire comes with everything you might expect inside. It is an HSDPA handset (with a CDMA version for our US cousins) and comes with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1. All the sensors are here: GPS, digital compass, motion, proximity and ambient light. So the hardware tells us that this is a smartphone and you won't find yourself lacking on the connectivity front. Physical capabilities are one thing, but with HTC Sense sitting at the core of the phone, it is virtually connected too.

i-mate JAMA 101 in kuwait

Hot on the heels of the x150 reviews we featured a few weeks ago we’ve had a hands on with the consumer equivalent the i-mate JAMA 101 the JAMA range is i-mates first foray into the consumer marketplace after the dissolution of their relationship with HTC so it’s quite key to their brand image, we’re going to look at how the JAMA measures up. The 101 is an upgraded version specs wise and styling wise over the original JAMA. I-mates HTC devices have stood them in good stead, the JAMA looks just like a mini version of i-mates HTC JAMin which was a massive favourite of mine. The JAMA certainly turned heads the styling and size are fantastic, the screen is a little smaller than is ideal but you’re getting a really compact PDA here with Windows Mobile 6 professional on Kuwait. The JAMA 101 is a really really good looking device, a great size, great finish and a real tactile feel; it looks the entire world like a smaller version of the JAMin. The JAMA is a real eye catcher and elicited a great deal of comment, it's a very compact and attractive device, the matt black finish is traditional i-mate and the JAMA sits nicely in the palm.

How to download Skype in Kuwait

Many residents in Kuwait know that Skype specifically, and VOIP in general, is banned by the Ministry of Communications. However, a lot of people (to my surprise) didn’t know that once the obstactle of getting the software is overcome, the program works perfectly fine. There are many ways of getting the software: If you know someone who lives abroad, you can ask them to download it for you and upload it on a file sharing service such as rapidshare Alternatively, you can use a free VPN service such as hotspotshield. This will unblock Skype’s homepage and you may download it (at a slow speed). Or you can use Wataniya Telecom’s routers or tethered mobiles’ unlimited data connection to access Skype’s homepage which is still unblocked. I am not sure about Zain and Viva.. perhaps someone can check and drop in a comment below. Now to add credit: You may follow steps 2 or 3. or access Skype’s secured site, which is unblocked by Kuwait’s ISPs. Skype is the defacto standard for video conferencing and I plea the authorities to reconsider their ban.

Backup galaxy tab in Kuwait

Titanium Backup ! Actually, I also wonder just who I am doing this test at all? Roots to know the app and use non-root you can not. What a dilemma in which I am! I show courage and try them anyway, not just (well YET!) Around you and annoy you, but because it has the potential to put everything else into the shade! After starting the app you will be confronted once with terms that are at least tell me as a NON-Linux users nothing. Busy Box? LZO compression? Wiki OK! You are on the list! LZO , a compression standard that is designed for pure speed. Why I did not know before? Well, at least I now have a new favorite spelling for "Upper hammer". The compression of the backed apps can also be done by the known Kompriemierungsarten as tar.gz. LZO is a bit faster, but is not supported by any processor. The real humor but is above the BusyBox . It is a fundamental part of the Linux / Unix OS, and incorporates many small standard Unix applications to a file. Seems important to be well! You can download and install these two programs under the button "issues?". BusyBox was installed successfully, you receive the message by now that the app now in Bestiz is the super user privileges. Of course this is important if you want to use the app, and create backups. Manage the main function to create backups, restore and delete, is the top humor!

Proxy settings are used to tell Internet Explorer the network address of an intermediary server (known as a proxy server) that is used between the browser and the Internet on some networks in kuwait. Changing proxy settings is something you usually only have to do if you are connecting to the Internet through a corporate network. By default, Internet Explorer automatically detects proxy settings. However, you might need to manually set a proxy with information supplied by your network administrator. Here's how: To change proxy server settings Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button , and then clicking Internet Explorer. Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options. Click the Connections tab, and then click LAN settings. Select the Use a proxy server for your LAN check box. In the Address box, type the address of the proxy server. In the Port box, type the port number. If your network requires separate proxy addresses for different services, such as HTTP, HTTPS, or FTP, click the Advanced button, and then type the individual proxy server addresses to use. When you are finished making changes, click OK until you return to Internet Explorer.

Why doesn't Adobe Flash work in Internet Explorer in kuwait

The Adobe Flash add-on might not work in Windows Internet Explorer if you're using the 64-bit edition of Internet Explorer or have disabled the add-on. ActiveX Filtering in Internet Explorer 9 can also prevent the add-on from working. Here are some things to try: Use the 32-bit edition of Internet Explorer. If you have installed either Internet Explorer 8 or Internet Explorer 9, both a 32-bit and a 64-bit edition of the browser are available on your computer. To see which edition of Internet Explorer you're using Open Internet Explorer, and then do one of the following: In Internet Explorer 8, click the Help menu, and then click About Internet Explorer. In Internet Explorer 9, click the Tools button , and then click About Internet Explorer. If you're using the 64-bit edition of Internet Explorer, 64-bit Edition will appear to the right of the version number. If you're using the 32-bit edition, nothing will appear to the right of the version number. Enable the add-on in the Manage Add-on dialog box. In Internet Explorer 9, turn off ActiveX Filtering.

Android For Tablets 2.2 Froyo Or 3.0 Gingerbread on kuwait

Android 2.2 (Froyo) which is the latest version of Android OS for handheld devices from Google available in the Kuwait. Android is believed to be beating the iPhone OS and Android is very much successful and we see lots of handheld device manufactures are using this. Samsung Galaxy Tablet is powered with Android 2.2 which is the latest version available in the market. Now the question is “Is this version fine for Tablet as well or is it well tweaked for the best performance for a tablet”. Other question that comes in my mind is like in iPad, we have applications which are developed for iPad, will the Android apps developed for mobile phones work well with tablets. Android 3.0 (Gingerbread) has a higher hardware basic requirements like atleast 1-GHz processor, 512MB of RAM memory, and displays no smaller than 3.5 inches and higher resolutions of up to 1280Will the tablets which are recently out in the market like the Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000, Dell Streak, Notion Ink Adam, ICD Ultra, Acer Tablet and many more coming up be able to run on the upcoming Android 3.0. Interesting thing is that there are rumors that Android 3.0 will be out by mid of October according to PC World. If its true that Android 3.0 is coming up soon then I feel that the recently launched Tablets powered by Android 2.2 should have waited for the release of Android 3.0 and have their hardwares loaded with the best to run this version. Honeycomb would be the next version after Gingerbread (Android 3.5). by 760 pixels would also be available for devices with displays larger than 4 inches.

VoIP on iPad in Kuwait

Yes, it's true - you can do VoIP on the new Apple iPad. The iPad sports WiFi, 3G, speaker, and a microphone - all you need to do VoIP. But the real kicker is that Apple just modified their iPhone (News - Alert)/iPad SDK to ALLOW VoIP over 3G. Yes, my friends, now you too can hold a massive 9.7" screen to your head - bulkiness and radiation be damned! The pertinent part of the SDK is as follows: 3.3. 23 Because some mobile network operators may prohibit or restrict the use of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) functionality over their network, such as the use of VoIP telephony over a cellular network, and may also impose additional fees, or other charges in connection with VoIP, You agree to inform end-users, prior to purchase, to check the terms of agreement with their operator, for example, by providing such notice in the marketing text that You provide accompanying Your Application on the App Store. 9. Third Party Terms of Agreement: You must state in the EULA that the end-user must comply with applicable third party terms of agreement when using Your Application, e.g., if You have a VoIP application, then the end-user must not be in violation of their wireless data service agreement when using Your Application. So Apple (News - Alert) is basically saying to developers "feel free to create VoIP over 3G apps, just make sure you state in the EULA that the end user must not violate any third party agreement, i.e. a carrier saying you can't do VoIP over 3G". But most users ignore EULAs anyway, so even if the carriers "ask you not to do VoIP over 3G" the carriers would be hard pressed to punish their users for using VoIP over 3G. Why? Because at least in the U.S. the FCC would be all over them. Holding the iPad to your ear for phone calls will be mighty tough unless you use your Bluetooth headset. I'm hoping they put better echo cancellation and larger speakers so you can just use speakerphone mode. I grade the iPhone's speakerphone mode a solid B- which is not good enough. I'm also still waiting for Skype to release an 'official' version that supports VoIP over 3G. Granted my jailbroken iPhone supports Skype (News - Alert) over 3G in Kuwait.
